This course is an investment that pays dividends on-and-off duty!\nThis course is designed for emerging leaders in law enforcement and fire service organizations—both sworn and non-sworn personnel—who are preparing for future leadership roles but do not currently hold formal rank or supervisory positions. Leadership is a choice. Choose it early!\nPresenter\n\nCaptain Tim Plotts (ret.), Facilitator\nEmbassy Consulting Services\nCaptain Tim Plotts (Ret.) served 30 years with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, retiring as a troop commander (captain). Throughout his career, he was actively involved in field operations and training. As one of the earliest FBI-LEEDA instructors, he has delivered 275 leadership courses nationwide.\nCaptain Plotts holds a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University and a Master’s in Leadership and Management from Montreat College. He completed the Southern Police Institute’s Administrative Management Program’s 101st session and attended the 242nd session of the FBI National Academy.\nRecognized for his leadership, he received the inaugural William G. Hyatt Leadership Award and the Meritorious Service Award from the North Carolina Highway Patrol. He also played a key role in establishing the Western North Carolina Law Enforcement Leadership Academy.\nIn addition to his law enforcement career, Captain Plotts is a volunteer rapid response Chaplain.
