Lisa Kumbier brings more than 30 years of law enforcement experience to the Embassy Consulting Services team, combining deep operational expertise with a lifelong commitment to professional development and public safety.
Lisa began her career as a Dispatcher and rose through the ranks to retire as a Lieutenant with the Brown Deer Police Department. Throughout her tenure, she served in a wide range of specialized and leadership roles, including Field Training Officer, Training Coordinator, Accreditation Manager, Public Information Officer, and Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police. Her collaborative approach extended beyond her department, as she worked closely with local agencies, schools, and community organizations to strengthen public safety and advance professional standards.
Following her retirement from law enforcement, Lisa transitioned into education and training, serving as a Law Enforcement Specialized Training Director at Waukesha County Technical College, where she expanded and enhanced training opportunities for law enforcement professionals across Wisconsin through strong community partnerships and a focus on emerging needs.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. She has also served as an instructor for Northwestern University’s Supervision of Police Personnel course, reflecting her dedication to developing the next generation of law enforcement leaders.
Now with Embassy Consulting Services, Lisa supports hosted training programs, administrative operations, and certification initiatives, bringing the professionalism, energy, and experience that defines her career to everything she does.
