Amber Landers, PhD

Amber J. Landers PhD is a Clinical Psychologist with experience teaching, consulting, and providing brief interventions in community, hospital, and school settings. Her interests include training and practice of integrating mental health into non-mental health settings, reducing stigma, and promoting health and mental health access for underserved populations. She is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Integrated Health Track at Alliant University/California School of Professional Psychology-San Francisco.

 

She obtained her BA from the University of California-Riverside, and her doctorate from Purdue University. She completed her pre- and post-doctoral residencies at Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Health Alliance. In her free time, Dr. Landers enjoys yoga, salsa dancing, and gummy bears!

 

Dr. Landers publications include: Landers, A.J et. al (2011) Police contact and stress among African American college students in the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry; and she has Co-authored a chapter on Depression for a textbook titled Pediatric Mental Health for Primary Care Providers (2017).
