Throughout his distinguished career, Bryan has exemplified exceptional leadership, instructional excellence, and an unwavering commitment to public safety. His accomplishments include multiple commendations for heroism and excellence, such as the Police Officer of the Year (2021 & 2022), the POALAC Centurion Award for impaired driving enforcement and training, and commendations from both the City of Glendale and the City of Pasadena for acts of heroism. Bryan’s professionalism, mentorship, and integrity have earned him recognition across the law enforcement community and continue to inspire officers nationwide.
With more than two decades of experience in specialized enforcement and operational leadership, Bryan has led tactical deployments, high-priority enforcement missions, dignitary protection details, and large-scale event preparedness throughout the City of Glendale. His career includes extensive work in patrol, tactical operations, and training development, where he has consistently emphasized proactive policing, teamwork, and officer growth. Bryan’s ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively in complex environments has shaped a generation of law enforcement professionals.
Recognized nationally for his expertise in drug recognition, impairment awareness, and officer education, Bryan is a certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Instructor through the IACP/DEC Program and has been teaching since 2012. He has delivered advanced training to law enforcement agencies across the United States and internationally, including the California Highway Patrol, LAPD, Chicago Police Department, and agencies in New Zealand. His instructional portfolio includes Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST), Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE), Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), and Drug Impairment Training for Educational Professionals (DITEP) courses.
