Front Line Leadership II is an advanced course designed to build on the foundational skills and concepts introduced in Front Line Leadership I. This dynamic, interactive, and self-reflective training spans three days and emphasizes immediate application to both personal and professional contexts.

  • Employee and Officer Wellness: Focus on the importance of mental and physical wellness, recognizing that the integrity of the law enforcement profession is directly tied to the well-being of its employees.
  • Resilient Leadership: Introduces principles of resilient leadership, emphasizing the importance of balance in personal and professional life to ensure operational readiness.
  • Organizational Culture Strengthening: Explore strategies to create a supportive work environment that attracts and retains talent, fostering a culture of engagement and commitment.
  • Team Dynamics: Delve into the common dysfunctions of teams and the leader’s role in transforming them into high-performing units. This includes understanding the five dysfunctions of teamwork and learning effective management strategies.
  • Strategies for the New Team Leader: New leaders will learn to establish clear goals by setting SMART objectives that guide their team’s activities. Building strong relationships with team members is essential for fostering trust and open communication. Assessing the team’s strengths and weaknesses allows leaders to maximize performance effectively. It’s crucial to communicate a clear vision and articulate expectations to align everyone’s efforts. Lastly, encouraging collaboration creates an environment where team members feel valued and motivated to contribute.
