This 4-hour training is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge, awareness, and confidence in identifying and responding to suicide risk within juvenile correctional facilities. The course addresses suicide prevalence, potential agency and individual liabilities, common myths and facts about suicide, risk and protective factors, warning signs, and prevention strategies.
