Edgar Zabunyan serves as the Social Media Consultant for Embassy Consulting Services, leading strategic digital content, brand messaging, and community engagement initiatives that support the organization’s mission of advancing leadership, training, and professional development within the public safety profession.
Born and raised in Armenia, Edgar immigrated to the United States to pursue higher education, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix. His law enforcement experience and public safety background provide a unique perspective in communicating the value and impact of Embassy Consulting Services’ programs and instructors.
Edgar began his law enforcement career in 2012 and currently serves as a full-time Police Officer in the Los Angeles area. Throughout his career, he has held assignments in Patrol, the School Resource Officer Program, the Retail Crime Unit, Field Training, and Community Relations. He also serves as a member of his department’s Crisis Negotiations Team.
Fluent in Armenian, Russian, and English, Edgar has represented his agency through community outreach initiatives, public presentations, and media engagements, helping build trust and strengthen relationships within the diverse communities he serves.
At Embassy Consulting Services, Edgar combines his expertise in public safety, leadership, and communications to create engaging content, highlight instructor and client achievements, and strengthen the organization’s connection with public safety professionals nationwide.
Edgar is married and the proud father of a daughter who inspires him daily to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
