Kevin Rice brings more than three decades of distinguished service and leadership in law enforcement, including a 23-year career with the United States Secret Service. He retired as the Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix Field Office, overseeing operations across a two-state region. Prior to that, held leadership positions in both the Los Angeles Field Office and Little Rock Field Offices, where he led complex investigations and protective operations at the highest levels of national security.

 

Throughout his career, Kevin has been deeply committed to training and education. He served as a detailed instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, where he trained thousands of new recruits. In the academic arena, he has taught criminal justice courses at five universities and developed one of the nation’s first college-level courses in behavioral threat assessment. He continues to contribute to the profession as a subject matter expert on threat management and is an Ambassador for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

 

A published author, Kevin has written three books on law enforcement topics, including his soon to be published book title Beset by Frustration” , based on ten years of research into the impact of frustration in both professional and personal environments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Pre-Law from the University of Central Florida, a master’s degree in Public Administration from Troy State University, and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command.
