Lynn Floyd is a seasoned leader, facilitator, and coach with more than 30 years of experience developing people, teams, and organizations across public safety, nonprofit leadership, and community-based environments. He holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree and brings nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience, including 18½ years with the Texas Department of Public Safety, where he served as a Trooper, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and leadership development specialist. Throughout his career, Lynn served in critical roles such as Field Training Officer, peer support team member, crisis negotiator, and departmental mediator, gaining firsthand insight into leadership under pressure and the human side of organizational performance.
Beyond law enforcement, Lynn has spent over three decades leading volunteer teams in ministry and community settings and served nearly two years as the leader of a nonprofit organization that served foster, adopt, and kinship families. In 2025, he founded and became the Executive Director of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit called Faithline Collective, which serves active-duty and retired law enforcement professionals and their families.
Lynn is a Certified John Maxwell Team member and a Certified Master of The Leadership Challenge® Workshop, the highest designation within the globally recognized leadership program co-authored by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. He has delivered The Leadership Challenge® Workshop to leaders across the public and private sectors, helping them model the way, inspire a shared vision, and lead with integrity. Lynn’s leadership philosophy is rooted in service, character, and impact—developing leaders who are prepared not only to lead effectively, but to lead well.
