Civilian Leadership Institute “A Premiere Leadership Program for Public Safety Employees” Class 15
This comprehensive five-month leadership program is tailored for civilian public safety employees who are current or aspiring supervisors and managers. The training aims to equip participants with the skills and strategies needed to become engaging and effective leaders within their organizations.
Participants will meet for two consecutive days each month to engage in learning, discussions, and exploration of the following topics:
- Leadership Styles
- Leadership Pitfalls and Challenges
- Creating Highly Effective Teams
- Emotional Intelligence
- Managing Difficult Employees
- Building Morale
- Effective Communication
- Conflict Management
- Human Relations
2026 Dates:
Session 1 – July 13 – 14, 2026
Session 2 – August 10 – 11, 2026
Session 3 – September 14 – 15, 2026
Session 4 – October 12 – 13, 2026
Session 5 – November 9 – 10, 2026
Graduation – November 10, 2026
– Session 1 will be held at the Museum of Tolerance in LA
